The TEB500 Series can include a wireless control module as optional equipment, keeping the wired connectivity. This module enables high speed connectivity using the standard IEEE 802.11b/g/n (Wi-Fi). Using this module the bioreactor can work in two modes:

• Standalone configuration: the bioreactor is configured as an autonomous access point. The user can connect his PC or smartphone to the bioreactor directly, without losing any functionality. This network can be encrypted to ensure the security, using the highest encryption standards.
• Network configuration: the bioreactor works in a local area network (LAN) and it can be accessed from any wired or wireless device connected to the local network or from anywhere in the world using an internet connection^[*].
