Multi-cavity tension & compression chamber

The multi-cavity chamber is designed to hold up to twenty samples at the same time for the application of tension and/or compression loads.

The distance between grips can be modified individually in order to adapt the length between grips to the specific dimensions of each substrate or scaffold. This is a key aspect of the chamber design, since it is usually difficult to have substrates with identical dimensions.

All the components of the chambers to be in contact with culture media are autoclavable or disposable.

Multi-cavity chamber tension grips

These grips are designed for the application of tension loads on planar substrates and samples.

The TC-3 configuration to be used with these grips can be both vertical and horizontal. (Note that even though the configuration of system does not have a significant influence on the application of tension on the substrates, using the vertical configuration will remove cavity independence.)

Technical Specifications

Multi-cavity tension grips
Grips for the applicaction of tension on multiple substrates.
Material Stainless steel
Width XXX mm
Maximal separation XXX mm
Minimal separation XXX mm
Working configuration Horizontal/Vertical

Multi-cavity chamber compression grips

These grips are designed for the application of compression loads.

It is adviced to configure the TC-3 system in the vertical configuration in order to avoid the sample to fall from the grips.
